TASTING NOTES
Tempranillo is the main grape in the famous Rioja region of Spain and their answer to Cabernet Sauvignon.This wine is very dark with nose of leather, ripe cherry, graphite and forest floor. Further aeration reveals subtle aromas of spice, minerals and molasses. The mouth feels is rich and tannic, big and somewhat chewy.
It measures up to any grilled meats and rich sauces and longevity is to be expected.
