TASTING NOTES

This wine is our third limited release of varietal Syrah wine bottled exclusively for our Wine Club and direct sales. Previously all of the estate Syrah wine was blended with our Petite Sirah bottlings. Trentadue Winery has a long and very successful 35 year tradition with growing and making wine from Petite Sirah which, as we now know, is the "son" of Syrah and Peloursin. The growing conditions at our Geyserville Estate are perfect for Syrah - well drained soil, warm days and cool nights. The wine shows a typical blueberry, blackberry and plum aromas with usual leathery and earthy nuances. The mouth feel is full with ripe tannins followed by a long, juicy finish. The aging potential is five to ten years.
