2010 Trentadue Old Patch Red Lot #33

Sold Out

To commemorate the 32ndbottling of our Old Patch Red, we added “Lot 32” to the label to disdiguishthis blend as a true original in the ever expanding red blend category. Most of the grapes, with the exception of our Estate Carignane, were sourced from Mendocino and Lake Counties of Northern California. This OPR blend is predominantly Zinfandel blended with Petite Sirah, Carignaneand Tempranillo, resulting in a very fruity and Rhone-like wine. The wine has a dark red color with intense dark cherry aromas, blueberries and cherry cola as an immediate impression. With aeration, nuances of vanilla appear with maple and cocoa and show a slight dose of oak and toast. On the mouth, the wine is fresh and juicy with youthful brightness, finishing long and fruity. Our 2010 OPR is delicious now but it will reward your patience with 2-3 years of aging. Cheers! Miro Tcholakov
